Never having been much of a diary-writer, this feels pretty darn strange... but I'm going to push past the initial discomfort and reach for that...blogger's high?
I've decided to put intimate details of my life on the internet for anyone to read for a couple of reasons, which hopefully outweigh the inherent recklessness of doing so:
1. Everybody's doing it! Not the best argument when asking your parents for the keys to the liquor cabinet, but this isn't quite the same...
2. I need somewhere to talk about the things I want to talk about. Friends and parents are nice and all, but there's something about cyber-strangers who may potentially become cyber-friends that allows for more freedom and honesty. Worst case scenario? Nobody wants to hear what I have to say.
3. It looks like fun! There's a whole community of you guys out there. You're creative, welcoming to new-comers, and incredibly glamorous. I could use some more acquaintances like that!
So thanks for reading, thanks for replying (please do! It would put one of those idiotic smiles on my face for the rest of the day), and thanks for being you :)
